Religious Education

At St Bernard's, Religious Education is a core part of our curriculum and is taught through the Grow in Love programme, which reflects the ethos and values of our Catholic faith. This programme nurtures the spiritual, moral, and emotional development of our pupils, helping them to deepen their relationship with God and grow in their understanding of Gospel values. Through prayer, scripture, storytelling, music, and discussion, children explore their faith in a meaningful and age-appropriate way. We foster a caring and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to live out their faith in their daily lives, showing kindness, respect, and compassion to others.
