Inspiring Creative Thinkers

We’re passionate about fostering a love of learning through creativity. Our nursery is filled with opportunities for children to express themselves, through the 6 areas of learning outlined in the Northern Ireland Curriculum. These 6 areas consist of: Personal, Social and Emotional skills, Physical Development, Early Mathematical Experiences, Language Development, The Arts and The World Around Us. Incorporating these 6 areas, we hope to build, curious and inquisitive learners, 

Our dedicated staff uses a play-based approach to education, where children have the freedom to explore their interests in a structured yet flexible setting. Whether they’re building with blocks, experimenting with colors, or engaging in group activities, children at St. Bernard’s are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and express their ideas in new and exciting ways.

Flexible, Part-Time Sessions

We understand that every family has different needs, which is why we offer a flexible, part-time nursery schedule designed to fit your busy lifestyle. Our sessions are:

• Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM

This flexibility allows you to choose the option that works best for your child’s routine while still providing them with the enriching, creative environment they need to thrive.

Lunch Club & Wrap Around Care

In addition to our regular nursery sessions, we offer Lunch Club and Wrap Around Care for parents who need a little extra flexibility.

• Lunch Club: After the morning session, children can enjoy a social, relaxed lunch hour before returning to their afternoon activities.
• Wrap Around Care: For families needing care outside of regular nursery hours, we offer extended hours after our afternoon session to help fit into your schedule.

Whether you need care for just a few extra hours or want your child to stay for Lunch Club and Wrap Around Care, we’re here to ensure that your child is cared for and engaged throughout the day.
