Inspiring Minds, Creating Futures
Anti-Bullying Week
Anti-Bullying Week 2025 – “Power for Good” Next week St Bernard's will be celebrating Anti-Bullying Week in school (Mon 10th–Fri 14th Nov).
The theme is “Power for Good”, encouraging children to recognise the positive impact they can have by speaking out, supporting each other and helping to create a kind and inclusive school community. This links closely with our school’s vision and values – promoting respect, empathy and belonging in everything we do.
We have a number of special events planned throughout the week:
Odd Socks Day – Monday 10th November: Children are invited to wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique. No need to buy anything new – it’s a fun way to start conversations about individuality and acceptance.
Positive Noticing Day – Wednesday 12th November: We’ll be encouraging pupils and staff to notice and celebrate the positive qualities in one another, helping to build confidence and connection.
World Kindness Day – Thursday 13th November: A day dedicated to small acts of kindness that make a big difference. Pupils will take part in activities that promote empathy, generosity, and care.
You can join in by:
💌 Telling your child how amazing they are before school 📝 Popping a little note of encouragement in their pocket
💛 Giving them a hug We can’t wait to see all the smiles and hear about the positivity spreading throughout the week.
Thank you for your support as we continue to build a safe, inclusive and caring school community at St Bernard’s.
