Miss Fegan has been hard at work running St Bernards today as our acting principal. From taking staff briefings, reading stories to primary one, signing attendance certificates, taking phone calls and treating her fellow colleagues to a McDonalds for lunch- it has been a jam-packed day! (Not to mention a few rejections of staff holiday requests too!) Miss Fegan earned this reward as Principal for the Day by achieving 256 house points throughout her primary seven year. Friday saw a day of mixed emotions, where memories of Aodhn Gillens life surged forth, filling our hearts with warmth and reflection. Pope Francis reminds us that, Lifes worth is measured by love, and the love showered upon Aodhn was immeasurable, transcending earthly bounds. Our fantastic hosts, in Edmund Rice College, were determined to reciprocate the warmth that Aodhn bestowed upon his spectators....

Well done to the yellow house, our term 3 house winners! They showed great determination right until the very end. The house points reward system has been a major success in St Bernards this year. It has brought a competitive spirit amongst the pupils to thrive for greatness in all that they set out to do. It has created an environment of positivity, respect, kindness and hardwork. We will continue to integrate house point rewards throughout life in St Bernards next year....
