ECO Team

In St Bernard’s Primary School, we have a dedicated and committed Eco team. The job of our Eco Team is to try to make our school as sustainable as possible. That means we try to look after the world around us and make sure that we don’t damage it. The children meet regularly to decide on what else we can do to make our school more sustainable. On a weekly basis, the children have roles and responsibilities to carry out across the school and do this to a very high standard. We have received our 'Green Flag Award' from Eco Schools for our excellent efforts to protect our school environment. 

Across the year, we choose two or three areas to focus on. These include Biodiversity, Litter, Energy, Global Citizenship, Marine Conservation, Healthy Living, Transport, Waste and Water.
