Judo Academy Success

Congratulations to Finn and Marcus who were selected to attend the NI Academy Squad for their age group.

Both boys attend St. Bernard's Judo Academy and practice at the local parish centre on Tuesday evenings as well.

Their parents travelled for the inaugural session on Saturday 11th June in Coleraine Leisure centre where they trained with boys and girls from all across N.Ireland.  There were over 10 clubs in attendance.  The boys did exceptionally well and will be attending a weekend training camp as part of the NI Academy Squad over 1st-3rd July in Lisburn.

The criteria for this squad includes a minimum of two training sessions per week, be at least a Yellow belt, and have a recommendation from their club coach.

We hope that Finn and Marcus will continue their success in represent the NI Academy squad at competitions in the future.
