Christmas Celebrations
Our annual Christmas Pageant was celebrated on Monday 9th December in St. Bernard’s Church. It was a beautiful service, portraying the true message of Christmas though Christmas songs and carols, a wealth of instruments, some fabulous Irish Dancers and our Christmas Tableau. We would like to thank all our parents, grandparents and families who joined us for a festive and enjoyable evening. It really was a beautiful way to open our Christmas Story and share the festive season with family.
P1 - Christmas Counts - Year One were absolutely fabulous during our Christmas Nativity Play, called ‘Christmas Counts.’ All of the children worked very hard to learn their lines and all the songs. The children sang beautifully and said their lines wonderfully. The play went without a hitch! All the children were true professionals!
P2 - Santa’s Hat - P2 gave a fabulous performance of ‘Santa’s Hat.’ It was a super magical story which seen Elves, Snow people, Fairies, Hedgehogs and Reindeer looking for Santa’s Hat! The Narrators told the story so clearly and confidently and the band accompanied the fantastic singing on their percussion instruments. Who would have thought Santa had been sitting on his hat the whole time?! What a silly Santa!
P3 - Baubles - At school, excitement levels are reaching fever pitch with thoughts of the plentiful presents and parties that the Christmas season will bring. It’s clear to our Caretaker Mr Rogan that something may have been overlooked. With the assistance of some helpful mice, he sets to work to create some beautiful baubles for the bare, forgotten Christmas tree and helps the children to rediscover the true meaning of Christmas. This was a lovely Nativity story performed by our Primary 3 children.
